Privacy policy

Your maps stay with you

Everything you mark on Unseen USA (states, counties, national parks, game scores, the title and photo on your map) is saved only in your own browser using local storage. It is never sent to our server. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Share links

When you copy a share link, your marked places are written into the link itself. Anyone you give the link to can see that map. We do not store it.

Downloads

Map images and PDFs are created inside your browser. Your photo is never uploaded.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the service secure and working.

Outside links

Some buttons open other sites, such as Google Maps. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
